It is not an official month milestone, but Eleanor is doing some funny and memorable things lately!* She spontaneously started counting in Spanish the other day. Guess it is either from Dora or her Spanish MDO teachers?? Either way, I am one impressed mommy :)
* She is SO independent. She will not let anyone help her into her booster seat. "No Mommy, No Daddy, go in there" (Mommy and Daddy, go in the other room while I climb in my chair).
* When she is reprimanded for things, a few hours later or even the next day, she recounts what she did and how it was wrong. ie. - "Mommy, Eleanor threw cup, not nice, saucy mommy (sorry mommy)" "Mommy, Eleanor no push Lanie, hug Lanie" (insert hugging gesture).
* Every time we tell her to clean up her toys, she bursts into song. "Clean up, clean, everybody, everywhere". Wonder where she got that??!!
* She took a sip of Scott's Vodka drink the other night and said "Mmmm, good water!" MORTIFIED
* Whenever we are at a friends house or on an outing and she is ready to go, she announces "Mommy, let's go home". It is embarrassing, especially at play dates!
* Tonight when I asked her who she wanted to come to her birthday party, she said "Gigi, Pops, Pacis (haha), Lanie & Wright. I give Wright kisses." Too cute.
* She jumps now- with both feet off of the ground.
* She gets as close to your face as possible to tell you what she wants. If you do not look her straight in the eye, she grabs your face with both hands and makes you.
