Eleanor is 13 Months Old!

I kept a "baby book" for Eleanor for her first year, but have decided to let the blog exclusively be her "book" from here on out. I write down little things she is doing each month so she can read them when she is older.

What you are up to right now, Eleanor!
  • You love, I mean LOVE animals. Birds in the yard, animals on TV, neighborhood dogs/cats and of course, Benson!
  • You love to eat. Anything and everything. You are constantly in the pantry looking for food and I would have to say Mexican is your fav.
  • You play really hard and sleep really hard. You sleep 12 -13 hrs at night and take two 2-2.5 hr naps each day.
  • You love to pull things out of drawers and put them back inside in an orderly fashion.

  • You love playing outside. I am excited for all of the adventures we will have this summer!

  • You love to read books and crawl in mine and Daddy's laps and "ask" us to read to you.

  • You love clapping for yourself when praised.

  • You laugh at us when we tell you no and it is so hard for us not to laugh.

  • You have major separation anxiety when I leave you for any amount of time.

  • You love sweets. Chocolate, cupcakes, sno cones, cookies.

  • You love to walk around the house and explore each room. You have a pattern that you follow daily. We are constantly chasing you!

  • You love to brush your hair and put on sunglasses.

  • You love it when I tell you how pretty you look after I dress you each day. It makes you light up!
  • You love your Mardi Gras beads. You wear them everyday all day.

  • You love to dance.

  • You love to point to everything and say "that" as if to ask "what's that?".

  • You make the following animal sounds when asked: Cat, Cow, Duck, Owl, Lion, Bear.

  • You are still not taking whole milk from a sippy cup. I have tried for over a month now and you are holding out! You love water or juice in a sippy, but nothing else!
