We had a busy and long, but fun, day on the 4th. We headed to the UP parade about 8:30 am with the Morrises and Hannas. Eleanor, Turner and Wright had the best time catching candy, beads and watching all of the cool floats and cars. It was Eleanor's first parade! Afterwards, we had brunch at Cafe Brazil. It felt great to get out of the heat and let the kids recover from their sugar highs :) After a good nap, we went to Catherine's dad's house to swim and then to the Hanna's house to cookout. Eleanor & the boys play so well together. Eleanor went to bed a 9 pm- latest ever I think!
