21 Things I Love About My Family

My friend Jennie inspired this posting from reading hers :) I have 21 because I couldn't stop!

Eleanor
1. I love Eleanor's smile. It is not just a smile. It is squinty eyed, two teethed, dimply, wrinkled nose smile. My heart melts every single time.

2. I love holding Eleanor at night while feeding and singing to her. I am so going to miss those nighttime bottles soon.

3. I love how she points at EVERYTHING as soon as she wakes in the morning like she has never seen them before. The lights, fans, dog, house alarm key pad, her toys. Must be amazing to view the world from her eyes.

4. I love our conversations. She babbles on and on and then waits for my response. The adorable inflection in her voice & the facial expressions let me know she understands.

5. I love watching her play. She talks to her toys and her little chubby cheeks and pursed lips make me just want to eat her! I am amazed everyday that God weaved together this perfect angel.

6. I love her temper tantrums. With one look, she usually snaps out of it and laughs at me.

7. I love her kisses. They are more like slobbery licks, but they are the best thing. And the fact that she is very selective about them makes them so much better!

8. I love her thighs. Could also eat those.

9. I love how she looks at me like nothing else in the world matters to her.

10. I love how she is ALL Scott. Makes me fall in love with him (and her) over and over.

Scott
1. I love how much he loves me. And how he lets me know every single day.

2. I love how much he loves Eleanor. He is the BEST daddy.

3. I love how he gets up every morning and says he needs to do his "chores". He takes Eleanor to the kitchen, washes all bottles, takes out the trash, unloads dishwasher, all to give me 30 min of uninterrupted shower, dressing time.

4. I love how he snuggles me every night and says he sleeps better when he does.

5. I love the man he is and how ambitious he is for our future. He is always trying to better himself for our family and I think it is the most amazing trait.

6. I love how he kisses me every single time he leaves the house, comes home and leaves the room, before bed.

7. I love how Scott wants a huge family (5 kids!)

8. I love how he wakes up in the middle of the night because our high maintenance dog needs water. He keeps a cup on his bedside table just for Benson.

9. I love how he just makes me happy being around him. I don't know what I would do without him.

10. I love how we can do anything and have fun together from the fanciest party to Target on Sundays.

11. I love how he rents movies for me that he would never dream of watching if not for me.
